Egyptian Steel & Dar El Orman Finished the Revamping of 60 Houses in Upper Egypt

The Governor of Beni Suef, Magdy ElBetity and Ahmed Abou Hashima, CEO of Egyptian Steel inaugurated the development works of "Mahdy El Akhram” village.

Egyptian Steel embraced the development and improvement of this village through revamping of 60 houses including roofing the houses, interior and exterior paints, implementation of doors, windows, plumbing and internal electricity connections, supplying of clean water and electricity in addition to providing to the poor families 41 cattles, as well as an insurance policy of 400 pounds per month as a monthly care.
Ahmed Abou Hashima stated that the initiative of “Together We Help the Most Needy Villages” start the implementation framework and Mahdy ElKhram is our starting point and over a short period we will continue to work on 20 other villages in Upper Egypt because this is our responsibility towards the society as a private sector."
And he added that Egypt is suffering from many problems and it will not be able to achieve the desired development for every citizen alone. Only through the consolidated efforts of the civil society, charities organizations and the private sector, a decent life for all citizens can be provided and eliminate ignorance, poverty and chronicle diseases that threaten the Egyptians.
“The cooperation between charities organizations and the private sector have always quick results especially
that the determination exists, Egypt has a lot of loyal patriots” said Mamdouh Shaaban ,Orman’s Board Member.
Shaaban added that the first phase in the cooperation protocol between Egyptian Steel and Dar ElOrman association is the revamping of 60 houses with total amount of EGP 1 million and 500 thousand EGP including roofing houses, interior and exterior paints, doors, windows, plumbing, bathrooms) in addition to supplying clean water to 12 houses with total amount of EGP 18,000 and supplying the electricity to 19 houses with total amount EGP 28,500.
The Governor of Beni Suef, Magdy ElBetity said “this village is located near to the governorate although that it is neglected, but recently it got a considerable government attention after the tens of billions of different investments including Egyptian Steel’s investments. And he praised Egyptian Steel’s pioneering role in developing Mahdy Elakhram’s village in cooperation with Dar El Orman association.
