Mr. Adel Labib Minister of State for Local Development, General Salah ElDen Ziada the Governor of AL Menya, General Mamdouh Shabaan the General Manager of Dar El Orman Association and the businessman Mr. Ahmed Abou Hashima CEO of Egyptian Steel Group inaugurated Al Sheikh Fadl’s
village in Bani Mazar –Al Menya Governorate after its revamping as a part of Egyptian Steel Group’s initiative to revamp the neediest villages in Upper Egypt” with the cooperation of Dar Al Orman association.
They inspected the revamped houses and met the citizens to know their feedback and their satisfaction regarding the initiative, Mr. Adel Labib praised the efforts exerted in developing this village especially after implementing the President Abdel Fatah El Sisi’s directives to supplying the revamped houses with furniture and electrical appliances.
Ahmed Abou Hashima affirmed that the development project in this village was included the revamping of 50 houses including interior and exterior paints, installation of doors, windows, plumbing and internal electricity connections, providing of 50 heads of cattle to poor families also 1,500 pieces of clothing and 15 prosthesis devices for people with special needs have been distributed in the village in addition to financing 10 micro-enterprise projects and helping 25 girls to get married.
Mr. Salah the Governor of Al Menya Governorate stressed during the distribution of the marriage subsidies on the importance of having a family planning system as each family should only have two children and he requested from El Orman association to hold a meeting at his office to expand and enhance the initiative.
Egyptian Steel Group was embraced with the cooperation of Dar Al Orman association the initiative of revamping 20 impoverished villages in Upper Egypt that was launched last June, the initiative delivered 3 villages in Beni Suef Governorate (Mahdy El Akhram , El Ghrakda and Abo Saleh) and a village in Sohag Governorate (Awlad Yehia).
