Egyptian Steel Group Sponsors the Biggest Metal & Steel Exhibition in the Middle East

Egyptian Steel Group participated as “The Silver Sponsor” in the Metal & Steel Exhibition 2017 which was held from the 9th till the 11th of March 2017 at the Cairo Conference Complex. More than 300 companies specializing in this field including 40 European, American and Arab countries participated in this exhibition.
The exhibition was held under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Dr. Sherif Ismail and it was inaugurated by the Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Tariq Qabeel, Deputy Minister of Industry of Cote d'Ivoire and Deputy Minister of Housing of Cameroon.
They inspected the exhibitors’ booths and spoke with representatives of the Arab and foreign companies. This exhibition is one of the most important exhibitions for metal companies in the Middle East and the Arab world where the companies get acquainted with the most important modern technological developments in iron and steel factories.
 A delegation of African businessmen from Morocco, Algeria, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Nigeria and Senegal also attended the exhibition.
210 Egyptian companies as well as 95 European and American including companies from Sweden, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Cyprus, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong and India. - Italy - Japan - Korea - Kuwait - Morocco - Netherlands - Oman - Russia - Saudi Arabia - Slovenia - Spain - Switzerland - Taiwan - Tunisia - Turkey - UAE - Ukraine - United States – Vietnam participated in this event.
Eng. Mohamed Abdel Muttalib, Group Commercial Director “Sales & Marketing” of Egyptian Steel Group affirmed that the group is at the forefront of international companies which apply and use environmentally friendly technology throughout its four plants in the governorates of Beni Suef, Alexandria, Suez- Ain Sukhna and Port Said. “In 2018, we will be able to reach the production capacity of 2.3 million tons per year in order to reach 20% of the steel market in Egypt and through the high quality of our products and our fast access to the consumer we will be a very strong competitor,” said Abdel Muttalib.
He added that the marketing team aims to increase Egyptian Steel Group’s brand equity by making it the first brand that comes to mind in the steel market. “In 2019-2020 we will be the leading company in the market and we are on our way to implementing a customer service system among the group’s companies and plants to facilitate consumers' access to our products through the phone,” he added.
