Egyptian Steel Launches a New Initiative to Rehabilitate the Senior Citizens Retirement Homes

As part of our social responsibility’s activities to support under privileged people, Egyptian Steel Group launched a new initiative aiming to rehabilitating the senior citizens’ retirement homes, orphanages, 
homeless children and people with special needs care centers in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior.
 
The initiative will take place all over the country’s governorates to enable these establishments to perform their role perfectly which helps to create a better life for those people and to give rehabilitation programs for the homeless children and treatment programs for people with special needs cases and provide them the necessary health care services.
 
Mr. Ahmed Abou Hashima, CEO of Egyptian Steel Group confirmed that the rehabilitation of these establishments will positively impact their role whether for the homeless children, orphans or the elderly, especially those who suffer from various disabilities who need a certain level of care.
Egyptian Steel Group decided to launch this initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior which plays a very important social role.
 
The initiative has already started and the first establishment is “Dar Akdar” for people with special needs and mental disabilities in Al Salam District and the building will be completely renovated and refurbished.
 
This building includes 107 cases of disabled people. Age ranges between 4 years old to 70 years old and it is expected to be completed during the coming month of August.
